As our spring months come to a close, and summer begins to fade in, fishing has done nothing but increase. Massive bull dolphin are a regular appearance in the ice chest as calm east winds have been gently drifting matts and lines of sargasm weed into our fishing zone, bringing in baitfish and other pelagics with it. It is now also the month of may which means grouper are open season to anglers. Solid Gag and Red Grouper have been the mainstay, while a good amount of scamps and blacks have hit the ice chest as well. Triggerfish vermillions and amberjack have also been plentiful as the summertime spawns begin to take place. Take a look at some of our most recent catches aboard the Nancy Jane ll!
